Carnastoltes

It is a campaign for the 2024 Carnival of Mataró City Council. We have used the visual double-entendre technique from the previous century to convey the essence of the carnival, with all its playful elements and metaphors.

When the poster is rotated 180 degrees, another image appears. Various images have been created using this graphic system to add more fun and engagement throughout the city.
The campaign includes the production of posters, street furniture (mupis), totems, and all digital materials with interactive videos

Optical Illusion

Adaptations of the work of Valentin Dubinin, a Russian caricaturist renowned for his optical illusions that seamlessly merge two images into one. His technique relies on lines and shapes that shift in meaning depending on the viewer's perspective or the orientation of the illustration. When the image is rotated 360 degrees, hidden elements or alternative interpretations often emerge, challenging the viewer’s initial perception. Through his art, Dubinin invites the audience to explore hidden details with creativity and humour.
